Our swim course is located just south of transition and will be well marked for race day.
Swim caps are provided in each athletes gear bag, be sure to get yours. Swim caps help with visibility and safety, and they look really cool.
For the benefit of safety and to prevent over crowding on the course, our water course will be a wave start. Your athlete will have a swim start that coincides with their age division. This will be provided again at packet pickup. Each wave will not start until the bike course is clear of all bikes from the previous wave.
All parents and athletes are required to know the triathlon course rules and obey them. Obeying the rules helps to keep safety and enjoyment for all, and insures that you will be invited back to race with us again in the future.
Water safety is our number one priority in the field of triathlon. We believe that safety starts with parents, and safety should start early: Please read our swim safety protocol and prepare to be an active contributor to water safety awareness.
