Race the River sprint triathlon
Race the River is a sprint-distance triathlon that takes place in beautiful Coeur d’Alene Idaho. It starts with a 0.5 mile swim with the mild current of the Spokane river, just as it leaves crystal clear Lake Coeur d’Alene. Athletes transition onto their bikes through the modern Riverstone complex and navigate an exciting and technically challenging 10.7 mile bike course. Exiting transition, runners loop through a serene city park for 3.1 miles, around a large pond with fountain and across a bridge made of an old train car.
